I am new in the blogging business, the first thing I do is to post to hosted blogs, most of the blogs I am working on are wordpress based, as we all know that WordPress is perfect for casual as well as professional bloggers, with the GPL liberal license make the wordpress the fastest growing blogging platform ever.

Lately I figured that I should build my own blogs and promote them, subsequently I can use my own blogs to promote my other websites, and I think its not a patentable idea, there are a lot of blog networks out there doing just that, the thing is that I don’t control those blogs, not to mention I can’t just post to them, obviously I will have to pay the owner to use their blogs, probably not cheap at all.

Its a tedious job to maintain more than a few blogs, if you’re not using your blogs as spamming device, the real content writing is time and money consuming, remember real value is always difficult to achieve. I’ve seen quite a few real world examples, look at this one, Where to buy Tire Chains, it has a nice name, the content on the site is not bad, without a clear theme, almost any interesting posts get posted on it. Here is another one, rathcet tie down strap, this is a themed blog, all posts are following the same theme, there are a few well ranked keywords for this blog. Its easy to show more similar sites, though I guess you get the point already. Here is one last note, some of your blogs should not be very serious ones, let them get some content occasionally, take one blog as example, Linux Hosting, doing this right you will have a natural blogging networks.

When you already have a few interesting blogs, add more blogs when you can, the old blogs will be helpful in promoting your newly built ones, get your own little blog network going is not that too difficult. This is just an idea, it won’t be easy to build even a tiny blogging network, there’s one thing you do have to keep in your mind is that don’t ruin your hard work just because you want to cut a few corners.
