I am new in the blogging business, the first thing I do is to post to hosted blogs, most of the blogs I am working on are wordpress based, as far as we know that WordPress is wonderful for automated posting, managing and much more, with the fact that its licensed under GPL make the wordpress the most favored blogging kit around the globe.

Lately I figured that I should build my own blogs and promote them, then I can use established and fully owned blogs to advertise other websites, of course this is not a new idea, all kinds of blog networks are out there for the exact purpose, anyway those are other people’s asset and I have no control, not to mention I can’t just post to them, its easy to understand that the price on those networks won’t be cheap.

If you have tried to maintain a few different blogs you will know its not easy, if you want values for your blogs,to write interesting content is always time consuming, you have to put in time and money to build a successful blog. Check out a couple of interesting blogs, such as this one, Dog Stuff, it’s name is pretty cute, and it has a lot of interesting posts, though its not a theme focused blog, there are all kinds of posts on the site. Check this one out, Professional Tools, this is a themed blog, the content on the this site has a theme, quite a few keywords rank well for this site. I can show you a lot more sites, but I believe you get the idea. Last but not least, in your little net you should have some loose blogs, put some random content on those blogs occasionally, such as this blog, Chain Slings, this will make a blog network more like naturally built blog groups.

When you already have a few interesting blogs, probably you can add a few more blogs to your arsenal, then use the established blogs to promote the new ones, this is the way to build your own blogging network. Of course its just the beginning, to build a successful network will be much more complicated, do remember don’t do any spamming tricks for your sites, if you get black listed there is no come back.
